For the function: F(x)= (11)/(X-54) compute the difference quotient : [F(x+h)-f(x)] h H isn't equal to 0. Attempt to simplify your answer. After finding the LCD (tell me if I'm right or wrong) F(x): [(11x+11h-549-11x-549)]/[(x+h-54)(x-54)] then I get 11h/ [(x+h-54)(x-54)] Factor out the H -> 11/ [(x-54)(x-54)] then 11/ (X^2-108x+2196) I only get one shot for this HW assignment, can someone review this and show me where I went wrong... if I did. Thanks!
you at least lost your h in the denominator
actually never mind, you fixed that, looks good!
It's not right, the Webwork gave me a 0 lol. Where did I go wrong? :-(
ah the -11
but it should be \[{-11\over(x-54)^2}\]so I'm not sure where oyu lost the negative, let me see ZERO? this is not zero, I can say that for sure... if it is \[ F(x)= {11\over x-54}\]
the right answer is -11/(x-54)(x-54).... human error at 10:48pm lol
right on, good job finding it :)
With your deliberation ! Thanks man, have a great night :-)
