What is the focus of the parabola y = 1/8(x + 2)^2 – 4 ?

The vertex is (-2, -4) and the parabola opens upward, so the focus is up from the vertex.
OpenStudy (stacey):
The distance up is 2, found by inverting 1/8 to get 8 and then divide by 4. The focus is (-2, -2).
