Hernándo Cortés was the Spanish "warrior" which brought the Aztec Empire to its knees. Hernándo Cortés was one of the most well known Conquistador's from Spain in the early 16th century. The Spainish allied themselves with rivals of the Aztec Empire and together laid siege and eventually sacking the capital city which ended with the death of Montezuma the emperor.
