Grade 11 Trig please!
A rescue helicopter flew from its base for 35 km on a course of 330 degrees to pick up an accident victim. It then flew 25 km on a course of 090 degrees to the hospital. What distance and on what course will the helicopter fly to return to its home base?
The answer is 31.2 km on a course of 194 degrees, btw

Draw a diagram. It will help you enormously.
Then figure where you are using Cartesian coordinates. Begin at the origin. Then figure where you are after the first leg of the trip; then figure out where you are after the second.
My problem is mainly that I dont know how to draw the diagram since my diagram provides the wrong answer...ill try it again tho
