how are DNA and messenger RNA (mRNA) alike
DNA uses deoxyribose sugar while RNA uses ribose sugar. DNA nucleotide bases are Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, Cytosine RNA nucleotide bases are Adenine, Uracil, Guanine, Cytosine. DNA is double stranded and RNA is a single strand.
thx. so, how are they alike?
they both are involved with the genetic materials for the cell (or the body). The DNA has all the genetic codes while RNA transfers those codes throughout the cell
thx so much :)
please answer me this: are these questions exam questions? I get a lot of "how are X and Y alike?". if your teacher gives you this kind of homework, you are free to tell them "that's frickin' stupid" from me. they should try teaching you interesting knowledge instead.
no these are not questions for a test, they are simply a question that i needed to know to prepare for the test :)
