Find the perimeter of the rectangle. A. 3x - 1 B. 6x - 1 C. 6x - 2 D. 4x - 1
Don't forget to say what answer you think it is :)
c :/
Bingo!!
We are trying to help you, so asking us to hurry up and adding ": /" smilies wont get you anywhere. I for one will stop helping you since you dont appreciate it.
fine. don't help me! u argue with everybody, i hae people that teach me this stuff, i come on here for a simple answer and i guess thats to hard for you to do without giveing me a life lesson :/
*have
So rude ...
C. 6x - 2
thx inseya
i would ask if i needed help explaining it out. so call me rude i dont care.
That isn't the part where you were rude. Telling us to hurry up, adding ": /" and talking down to me when i try to help you is where you are rude. If you ask for people's time, I suggest you be gracious about it.
look i asked for one thing. the answer because im in a hurry. but u chose not to do that so whatever
so fine. i dont need ur help so dont help me anymore.
looks like we exhausted the purpose of this thread. shall we move on?
yes
A. 3x - 1
a? how?
That's fine. I was merely commenting that I won't help because of your attitude. Luckily I don't need help with elementary maths. Good luck in your other endeavours.
c is the right answer as you had it.
whatever, go find another 17 year old to pick on.
maybe
inseya u were right the firs time :)
C is the correct answer. lisa, you should indeed be a little more gracious when people try to help you. Be polite in indicating you're only looking for the answer, and realize that that means some people will refuse to answer your question. In a perfect world, explain *why* you are only seeking an answer. Answers by themselves are not useful if the underlying learning isn't done. In the specific case, you already had the correct answer, which is great. strobe, there's no need to blow things out of proportion. If you do not want to help because you don't think someone is putting forth effort, feel free to say so, but say it politely and move on. Moreover, there's no need to get annoyed when someone actually does what you ask them (she gave you the answer you asked for) simply because of an emoticon. They are cooperating, and the result should have been a great back-and-forth. Instead, it devolved into an argument. There's no reason that should have happened here. Be nice to each other, and OpenStudy will be awesome! :)
