A hiking group will go from a certain town to a certain village by van on 1 of 4 roads, from the village to a waterfall by riding bicycles on 1 of 2 bicycle paths, and then from the waterfall to their campsite by hiking on 1 of 6 trails. How may routes are possible for the hiking group to go from the town to the village to the waterfall to their campsite?
my phone died on you lol i tried to answer it and it shut off.. dam it
no lol only car charger
no i am an idiot when it comes to math
you are not an idiot sweetie....first thing that you want to do with word problems is write them out...You want to write each scenario down ex: town to village= 4 paths village to waterfall=2 paths wf to campsite=6 paths
make sense?
yeah i was writing it down.. then what lol
ok, you want to find the total amount of different paths they can take...so you know that they can take how many paths from the town to the village
24
that was totally a guess i added all the paths together and multiplied by the lowest amount of paths that could be takin...
think about it this way...I'm gonna try and use this draw thing lol
