that is the same as 3^(-x) = 724
ok ... wat do u do next?
Take the log of both side at base 3 and rearrange the equation so the -x is positive
you should end up with \[-x = \log_{3}724\] If you want the approximate answer using your calculator simply use the log button and type in 724, then you divide it by log(3) to get the answer
