5/(x-3)= (x+2)/(x-3) + 3. Solve the equation graphically and algebraically. I'm getting an answer for x that does not seem to match up with the graph.

OpenStudy (king):

x=3

OpenStudy (king):

This equation is actually not possible....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is the answer I'm getting but am noticing it doesn't seem to make sense. Would you be able to explain why?

OpenStudy (king):

The equation is undefned...[not theoretically possible]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm, ok. Thanks for your help
