When finding the sum of the arithmetic sequence 4 + 1 + –2 + –5 + –8 + –11, you will have a step of work that contains the number –3. Use complete sentences to describe how the –3 was calculated and what it means.
i forgot arithmetic sequence i learnt it like 4 years ago
Hmm, what is the question asking for then?
The series is an Arithmetic Progression with the the common difference being equal to -3. This is the difference between any two successive terms of the sequence.
yup
that was easy. i shld have used my brain!!!
hehe, this was my answer: Well if you add 4, 1 and -8, that group of 3 numbers equals -3. This means that these 3 numbers were able to make up the number -3. , so I would take it I'm wrong haha..
@_@ I don't like using mine.. It barely works when I need it.
well I guess ur answer cld also be true but i bet ur teacher is looking for thehero wrote
You are mid-solving the equation instead of answering the question... @^@ Teachers look for specific things and my head hurts now.
