Solve the problems below that pertain to optimal construction of an object. A warehouse is to be built in the shape of a rectangular solid with a square base. The cost of the roof per unit area is three times that of the walls, which we call W. Find the shape which will enclose the maximum volume for a given cost C??

Ok, so the volume of the building is xyh=V since it is a square base x=y so we have hx^2=V where h is the height and x is the length of one side of the floor/roof. now as for cost we know that the cost of the walls is three times that of the roof. Here I need to know, though, what does the floor cost, the same as the roof or walls?
