is anyone good at geometry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope not at alll

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that helps...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um do you know how to construct a perpendicular bisector?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you walk me through it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as in drawing one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k. draw a line and label it AB then open a compass wider than half of AB and draw and arc with the "pointy thing" centered at A Using the same compass setting, draw and arc centered at B that intersects the first arc label the points it intersects at C and D Draw CD. CD is the perpendicular bisector of AB I can show you a drawing if you like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can also draw AB and then find the midpoint and draw a line through the midpoint

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you that helped a lot :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):
