-5(s+4)+4(2s+3) simplify?

so far i have this...
-5 * s = -5s
-5*4= -20 which means -5s+-20?
then... 4*2s=8s
4*3=12 which means

(-5s+20)+(8s+3)
-5s+8s
-20 +3
am i right so far?

why did you put down 3 and after you expanded the brackets dont put it back into brackets but if you are doing it to show me clearly then its fine
