OpenStudy (immanuelv):

Create a rational function that would not have a horizontal asymptote

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make the numerator a higher degree than the denominator

OpenStudy (immanuelv):

\[(x ^{2}+3x) \div (x+3) \] would it work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would not have a horizontal asymptote for sure because that is just the line \[y=x\] (well except at -3 where it is undefined)

OpenStudy (immanuelv):

ok thank you!!!
