In the figure below, DK = 10, HK = 3, and GK = 14 is an altitude. Which is the difference between the areas of triangles GKH and GKD?

area of GKD = 1/2 * 10 * 14 =70 area of GKH = 1/2 * 3 * 14 = 21 diff = 70-21 = 49
