[Precalculus] Find x and y where 3x+2y=7 and 2x+3y = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're basically trying to find the intersection between the two lines, which is where the \(x\) ad \(y\) values will be the same for both. Solve for \(x\) or \(y\) on both, and set them equal to each other. Then solve for the remaining variable. This will be one of your coordinates for your intersection point. Then substitute this back into one of the original equations to figure out the other coordinate for that value.
