Would year round schooling make students better people overall? Some schools
have decided to switch their calendars around to spend some of their summer in school. This does not mean that students get less relaxing time or less days off. The school has just decided to spread them out over the year. This means that you could have a longer Christmas vacation, and a longer spring break. School may also have days off for small holidays, such as St. Patrick’s day, Veterans day, and even Halloween. break is important because year round schooling could take away family, friend and vacation time, also todays students fell overworked and overburdened with the stress of school and need the summer to get a much needed break.

Granted the traditional summer break may be a waste of students time that could
otherwise be spent learning, but students are overburdened with the stress of school. Though summer vacation is a waste of time that could be used to learn. Some students get stressed out and some ever quit school. Summer vacation is a time for relaxing and unwinding. This help relieve students of stress and helps take their mind off school. But students need learning time over the summer because summer break is a time when students forget what they learned the year before. Some students come back and need a review of what they learned the year before in order to move to the next step. Some people Believe summer vacation is good for learning and reviewing what students learned the year before. Others believe summer vacation should be used to relax and relieve they of any school related stress students and teacher may have.

Though summer vacation is a waste of time that could be otherwise be used for learning it could also be used for family, friend, and travel time. During the summer students spend time with family by having family camping trips or family outings. Students spend the summer together at beaches, spending the night together during the week, and going to late night parties. Students also use summer vacation to see the world, and going to the places that people read about. Students can spend as much time as they want traveling and they can really enjoy and take in its beauty.
