Simplest form of 18/27
Start by dividing both numerator and denominator by three... it's pretty simple.
why 3
9 would be best. It is the greatest common factor.
You check from the smallest number to the biggest... Can you do it by two? nope Can you do it by three? Yes.. Then if you are able to see that you can go by nine and do it faster, you can do that as well :)
confusing!
Answer should be 2/3. Try the next few by yourself ... you'll learn more by trying.
how about instead of giving me the answer you tell me if i got it right/ wrong
2/3. divide both numbers by 9. so you pick a number that would divide both top and bottom
How so? The core concept of fractions is to divide the top and the bottom by the same number (it should be the greatest common factor). @AngleDreamGurl Sure.
Try doing these by yourself: 4/16 7/49 6/30 5/10 :)
These are basic concepts that you should try to understand. You should do problems for understanding.
anyone can graph solutions on a number line please help me
