vector calculus? This subject has been the bane of my existence for the past two years. If i'm right though you should find the gradient of your function where it's equal to zero, since the gradient looks like it'll be a constant vector, which means there are no local maxima or minima. you need to check the boundaries your given for where the P will be greatest
