Solve the inequality 3-(4+7)>h

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

3-(4+7)>h 3 - (11) > h -4 > h h < -4

Thanks , but i dont understand why the inequality changed .

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

you welcome. we didnt really changed it, the answer is. i just flipped it coz variables are written on the left side.

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

First the "h" was on right side, then i flipped it to the left.

What if it was a problem like d-5>-7

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

add 5 on both sides..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the answer is negative , does that mean that the inequality will change ?

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

No, you will changed the inequality when the variable is in negative. like if u had -d-5> -7

Ok thanks that helped alot .
