you should read about course units in particular university

as far as i know IT is inclouding hardware also, while c.s. includs only programing and computer soft devlop. like Assembly or this kind of stuff + ofc the main programming laguages.

not necessary, in my uni all students related with CS has same units and there is computer engineering, however we don't have IT course so better would be just look at uni's page and see what units you will have in IT and CS course
