name all the joints found in skeleton

OpenStudy (blues):

Ah, there are how many bones and how many articulations in a human being? To list them all would be a little time consuming...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u for real? well... distal interphalangeal of the foot, tarsal meta-tarsal. talo navicular, talo tarsal calcaneal - navicular (probablya few more there). ankle (tibia talus). knee (tiba -femoral). hip intervertebrals. distal interphalangeal of the hand, metacarpal. carpal-metacarpal . i dont remember the 8 carpal bones - and therefore their joints, but pisiform, scaphoid, lunate triquetrum, hamate uncus (and some missing). wrist: radio-carpal. elbow: ulnar-humerus. acromion - humerus/ acromion-clavicular. sterno clavicular. vertebro-costal. temporal mandibular joint. i nthe ear: maleus stapes and uncus - in between them naturally i hope i havent forgotten anything

OpenStudy (blues):

Cranial sutures... There are twenty two bones in the skull and most of them border three or four other bones; each articulation has its own name, so you should add to the list: Sagittal suture, lambdoidal suture, squamosal suture, coronal suture....

OpenStudy (blues):

That is, 22 bones in the skull excluding the bones in the ear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one of them is patella.
