Please explain why there is no relative extrema for this function f(x) = 7x/5x-3

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

at a relative extrema, the differential of f(x) is zero. If you calculate the differential of your function you will note that it can only be zero at \(x=\pm\infty\).

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

it's \(f'(x)\) that I was talking about being zero, not \(f(x)\)
