the graph of the function f(x) = (x^2+2)/(x^2+1) has as its vertical asymptote(s) ....show work please

OpenStudy (alfie):

Well, in order to find out the vertical asymptotes (if any), first thing to do is to find the domain of the function.

OpenStudy (alfie):

\[f(x) = \frac{x^2+2}{x^2+1}\] What's the domain of this function? The denominator must be different from 0 so you should solve.. x^2+1 != 0
