OpenStudy (anonymous):

in mitosis all the chromosomes get align in the metaphagic plate and centromere of chromosome is towards the plate and arm are towards the pole and here chromatids remain monovalent in meiosis all the chromosome get align in metaphagic plate and the centromere of chromosomes are towards poles and arms are towards plate and here chromosome are bivalent
