Find the acute angle between lines having the slopes 2 and -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here's an interesting formula i came across. tan = |m2 – m1|/ (1 + m1m2). Can we try using this: m1 and m2 are the respective slopes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my m1 is -4/3 and m2 is -1/2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the orginal problem you said the slopes where 2 and -45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5*

oh im sorry.. i guest it is the other problem that i posted a while ago.. so how can i find the acute angle? using the formula that u gave?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

i get angle = 37.875 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how? can you show me your solution? if it's ok. :)
