there's no such functions, but you can add someone as fan and set fan message which would be seen only by that person

another solution might be just to create new group and speak there, however it could be visible to others if someone decides to join that group

like you can go to my profile
and click on where it says fans
and it will show you my fan messages written by others

Yes, please don't consider those private. They are very much public, just a little more hidden ;)

There is currently no way to send a private message to anyone, though we are considering the feature heavily at the moment.
