Well, if integrals is really the area under the curve, and yet, here we're dealing with rectangles, we can estimate the area by saying that a = l*w and l = 100 w = 1

So a = l*w = 100*1 =approximately 100

We know that the integral is a little less than that because the integral doesn't cover all of the rectangles, so it's going to be a little less.
