Explain and give an example of combining like radicals.

hero (hero):

Combining like radicals is similar to combining like terms for example, you know how to combine the following: x + x = 2x x^2 + x^2 = 2x^2 3x^3 + 4x^3 = 7x^3 and for radicals, it's no different: \[2\sqrt{x} + 4\sqrt{x} = 6\sqrt{x}\]
