no, its not correct.

surface area of sphere= \[4\Pi r ^{2}\] surface area of hemisphere= \[3\Pi r ^{2}\] in case of sphere, the radius is 12 inch, hemisphere has radius 18 inches put those values in the equations, u can easily compare.
