In an article I am using to write a paper with, there are two authors. The first author wrote the whole article and the second author briefly commented in the article. How do I correctly cite this for my paper?

If both authors are listed, I would use both in my citation.

If you know which author said what, you can cite that author, but you will need both authors on your works cited page.
