Which ordered pairs from the replacement set are solutions to the equation? y = -2x + 9 ; Replacement Set {((-1, 11), (0, 8), (1, 7), (2, 5)} I'll give a medal to anyone with the best answer :)
the first one
It can be more than one answer by the way.
yeah im trying to do it in my head
the third one and forth one also work too. ill give you a medal if you learn why =)
wanna know how i got that?
Why? Lol.
ok so in m ath we use this notation we we state the x number then the y number (x,y) like that.. so which each one it first says the the x number then it says the y number. figure out if it is a solution all we have to do it put the number in for the letters
so in the first one we have (-1, 11) this means that x = -1 and y = 11
all you have to do is put the -1 in for x and the 11 in for y, then check your answer
if it works it is a solution
