The polynomial of degree 3, P(x), has a root of multiplicity 2 at x=4 and a root of multiplicity 1 at x=-4. Its lead coefficient is -2. Find a formula for P(x) and its y-intercept. so far I like... got -2x^3 + Bx^2 + Cx + D what do I do now?

the equation should be like this: a((x-4)^2)*(x+4) and you know that the leading coefficient is -2, so a=-2 and you can find the answer
