I guess I wonder by what you mean on critical lens. I forget who said the character but the quote highlights the constant battle between easy and right. Often times doing the right thing is harder and it is just easier to lie and be dishonest than truthful. However in doing the easier path we hurt others. In the crucible Abagail ended up sticking with the easier path and it hurt many people including the man she loved.

I was forced to make a play but we never accomplished it in drama class sweet ;) I was suppose to be francis nurse
