You are working on a new temperature scale that will unify the earth. After some thought you decide to call it the "The Universal Scale". Let F donate the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, and let X denote your new temperature scale. You want it to be such that if F = 0 then X = 20 and if F =100 then X = 126. You also want X to be such that if you plot X against F you obtain a straight line. (this described as "linear interpolation") You obtain the formula X = mF + b where m = ____________ and b = ________ please help me on this one!

but then the answer that i got is not correct!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m = 53/50 b = 20

same as finding the equation for the line that passes through the points \[(0,20),(100,126)\]

I have tried those answers but it is not correct
