2m^2+10m+2=0
solve. try factoring first. if factoring is not possible or is difficult, use quadratic formula.
make your life simpler and start with \[m^2+5m+1=0\]
There are no two factors of 1 that have sum 5 so you will have to use the quadratic formula
of course there are. you will just never find them by guessing
-5plus or minus sqrt 21 over 2?
satellite are you sure about that? i remember i have a formulated guessing system lol
is that an oxymoron?
yes i am sure, and yes bhruifafn is right
ok fine, a formula for guessing...
\[x=\frac{-5 \pm \sqrt{25-4}}{2}\] yes brillant bhrufafn :)
i have a lot of answers to check, thanks for helping guys
I think bhruifafn deserves a medal for having solve the problem himself
