OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm getting the same. 32+16+8+1=57

OpenStudy (espex):

111001

OpenStudy (espex):

So we all agree.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome..=)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've got a linear algebra final at 8 in the morning. Can i bring you espex and purple?

OpenStudy (espex):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm gonna need some help. Trust me. XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am here..hehehe

OpenStudy (espex):

I start linear algebra next semester.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's certainly not terribly difficult. I'm just a dumb smart kid surrounded by smart smart kids, which makes it seem challenging.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol...

OpenStudy (espex):

Looks like we're done with homework here? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i had few more conversion and binary problems that i did..and now i am not sure if i did it write...is it okay if i confirm it with you guys?

OpenStudy (espex):

Of course

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right* gosh cant type today..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Convert Hexadecimal F9 (base 16) into Decimal (base 10) Answer 11111001 -121 -7 None of the above. i am getting a 11111001

OpenStudy (espex):

F 9 1111 1001 11111001 1+8+16+32+64+128

OpenStudy (espex):

Formatting an answer on here sucks.

OpenStudy (espex):

So, 249

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and that converted to binary is 11111001..=)

OpenStudy (espex):

Well yes, your binary conversion was done before you reached decimal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 more..is that okay?

OpenStudy (espex):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks alot.. ADD these two Binary numbers 01111100 and 00000111 Convert the answer into Decimal (base 10) -3 125 -125 None of the above I am getting none of the above...as adding the binary gives me 10000011 which is 131.. what do you think?

OpenStudy (espex):

01111100 00000111 10000011 1+2+128=131 I thought you said you got these wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember the first question i got wrong...you gys corrected me..so i wanted to confirm some of them...

OpenStudy (espex):

Just hassling ya. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol...i wanted to make sure i am on the right track...=)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Convert Binary 10001001 (base 2) into Hexadecimal (base 16) Answer 89 -9 AB None of the above. i am getting 89

OpenStudy (espex):

1000 1001 8 9

OpenStudy (espex):

Me too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awesome..last one..i promise...=)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ADD these two Binary numbers 11110010 and 11001101 Convert the answer into Decimal (base 10) Answer -63 63 -65 None of the above i am getting none of the above...the adding of the two binary equals to 110111111 which is 447...so i am going with none of the above

OpenStudy (espex):

11110010 11001101 110111111 1+2+4+8+16+32+128+256=447

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much for you help..i really appreciate it..

OpenStudy (espex):

Any time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me know if you need any help...=)

OpenStudy (espex):

How are you in Chemistry? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am majoring in it...last time i took chemistry was in the junior year of my high school..lol..so i think if its basic then i should be able to help..

OpenStudy (anonymous):
