In the following figure, the similarity ratio of regular hexagon P to regular hexagon T is 4/5 and the similarity ratio of regular hexagon R to T is 2/5. What is the difference of n and m?

we have (m+12)/(n-4) = 4/5
and 6/(n-4) = 2/5

30 = 2n-8
2n = 38
n = 19
now put n = 19 in first equation...

(m+12)/15 = 4/5
5m + 60 = 60
5m = 0
m = 0

So Difference of n and m = 19-0 = 19
