The isosceles triangles, with vertex angles A and ECD, in the figure below are similar. If mA + mECD = 80 degrees, which is mB + mD?

mA = 40 so do mECD isoscles tri has 2 same angle, tri has maximun of interior angle of 180 , hence: 180=40+mD+D mD same as MB mD+mB=140
