A certain carnival game consists of a spinner with 30 sectors with various payoffs. Two of the sectors win $10, five of them win $5, ten of them win $2, nine of them win $1, and the rest are losers. How much should the carnival charge to play this game?

You need to count the average profit of the game. 1/30 chance to hit one sector. 2 sectors are 10 that means 2/30 *10 dollar 5 are 5 so 5/30*5 10/30*2 9/30*1 add these (20+25+20+9)/30=74/30 that is a bit less than 2.50dollars, So the carnival need to charge at least 2.50 for a ticket to make profit.
