I need a step by step guide on solving: 3=x+sqrt of 2x-3 What I have done: 3=x+sqrt of 2x-3 3-x=sqrt of 2x-3 (3-x)^2 = (sqrt of 2x-3)^2 9-x^2 = 2x-3 12-x^2-2x = 0 x^2+2x-12 = 0 x(x+2) = 12 x = 12, x+2 = 14 The correct answer is x = 2, but I don't know what I did wrong.
