What are the differences between a prokaryotic cell and a eukaryotic cell?

Prokaryotic cell do not have a nucleus and eukaryotic have nucleus, the prokaryotes are unicellular where is the Eukayote usually multicellular, the prokaryotic cell lacks some organelles

Well defined nuclei is most important distinguishing characteristics. others are presence of compartment cellular organelles such as mitochondria
