five coins are tossed in succession and the result is recorded as in "HHTHT." What is the probability that you never get an H immediately after a T?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The probability of \(never\) getting a H immediately after a T is probably zero, unless you're seriously trained and practiced in the art of coin flipping. I'm not really sure what the question was supposed to be asking though.

If you flip a coin with head and tail... there is ALWAYS a 50/50 chance to get either head or tail. It doesn't matter if you get Heads 50 times in a row... there's still a 50% chance that you WILL get tail regardless of last toss.
