please give me some examples for application of Bernoulli's principle in daily life (like the movement of a flag) and also about the various energy changes involved in it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the most common example is the swinging of ball in various sports like cricket, table tennis, etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is it an example??the rotation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the movement of the ball in the air(or any other fluid due to its rotation)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u please tell me the changes in energies involved?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernoulli's_principle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the explanation is good enough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okie...thank u.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The other great or probably the best example is that of how an aeroplane flies,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u ...i got application in airfoil.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is air foil?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the flight of an aeroplane... can u pls tell me the change in forces according to bernoulli's principle? kinetic, potential and pressure energies must remain a constant. so as pressure above the wing decreases, what increases? kinetic or potential energy?
