Solve, using the substitution method. y = 2x + 6 2x - y = 6 (Points : 1) (14, 12) (12, 30) There is no solution. There are an infinite number of solutions.

OpenStudy (alfie):

Just plug in the y in the second equation, what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30=30

OpenStudy (alfie):

2x-2x-6 = 6 to me.

OpenStudy (alfie):

2x and 2x cancels out... -6 = 6 makes no sense. So there are no solutions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i will look into it more
