3. A professor at Cecil College thinks that the number of Facebook friends that Cecil College students have is probably skewed right with a mean of 240 and a standard deviation of 187. We will take a sample of 110 Cecil College students. a. Describe the distribution of the sample mean. Give the name, the mean, and the standard deviation of this distribution. Draw a picture and label that picture completely. b. Suppose you have 295 friends. Is that unusual? c. Suppose our sample of 110 students had a mean of 295 friends. Was that unusual? Justify. Make a concluding remark in the context of the problem.

can anyone help me?

Hi. Are you still there? You are looking at an application of the central limit theorem. A sample mean is distributed normally with a mean of the population mean, and the standard deviation of the sample mean is the standard error. If this is too tricky, I'll make it simpler.
