First one is -6 second one is 6

OpenStudy (mathmate):

int [2,6]=int [2,5]+int [5-6]=2+(-8) = -6 the second one is just the negative of the first.

Umm, mind showing me how? :X These practice problems are a bit hard when you have a teacher that doesn't know how to explain.

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

\[\int\limits_{a}^{b} f(x) dx = \int\limits_{0}^{b}f(x) dx + \int\limits_{a}^{0}f(x) dx\] where a<0<b

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

you can replace 0 with c. c can be any value between a and b
