No \(\LaTeX\) preview when answering questions and using \.( \.) I believe it's happened after this update because before it worked.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and yeah when you use \.[ \.] everything is fine, you get preview

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Oddly, inserting a \[ after the \( \) works fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you please help me???Data is available for all 50 states on the percentage of public school students who were at or above the proficient level in mathematics testing in 1996 and 2000. Explain why it is not necessary to use an inference procedure if you want to know if the mean percentage proficient for the 50 states increased from 1996 to 2000.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it was working before, so something is a bit broke? :D

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Under no circumstances should you post your question to another question's thread.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

kieshak. Please post your question in the appropriate group. If you want to ask others for help, do it in group chat, not in other people's questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry im new i dont know who to ask for help cuz everyone is ignoring me

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Have you posted to mathematics? Have you asked for help in the mathematics group chat at the bottom of the screen? These are probably two good places to start :)

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Tomas—yeah no idea. Seems unlikely we broke something ourselves, but it may be an issue with MathJax that cropped up today. We'll investigate.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have several times only one person answered but she didnt know statistics and everyone else it either helping other ppl or agruing

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

It's entirely possible there is no one on who can help you. That happens sometimes. Please don't spam other questions in these cases. You can always wait and try again after a while when other users have come online to see if they can help.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

(I'm not particularly good at statistics myself.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay sorry and thanks

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

No problem. Sorry you're not getting help :/ Hopefully someone will be able to help you soon.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

lilg—I think you're in the wrong thread ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also preview doesn't work when $$ is used
