The Thesis statement is the point in your introduction where you tell what exactly you are going to discuss throughout the whole paper. For example:
Q: “What are the potential benefits of using computers in a fourth-grade class?”
A: “Using computers in a fourth-grade class promises to improve . . .”
Before you have a thesis you have to have a question for your paper, this is just the mental process, you don't actually include the question in your essay , but you will answer it by having a thesis , that will help guide your readers into knowing what direction you plan on going with in your paper.
