How do you work out 9/10 - 1/15 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well first change both fractions to a common denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take the lcm of the denominator n then proceed

okay

so in this case, i'll give you a hint -- 30 is the least common multiple between the two denominators. so you need to change 9/10 into something out of /30, and similarly 1/15 to something /30. can you do that step?

yep, thankyou, atleast i wont get a really bad percentage in my homework :D
